We lucked out having a beautiful 3 day weekend after a week of fog and rain so of course we went out sight seeing to enjoy the weekend. We went to the Atlanta History Center which is home to the Swan House that is a beautiful home. You might also recognize this as President Snows house in the Hunger Games. If you haven’t noticed Hunger Games is one of my favorite books and we love the movies too.
The in-laws invited us to visit Callanwolde during their Christmas event. Each of the rooms in the mansion was decorated by a designer in Atlanta. The house was very pretty. I had never heard of this place before and it was a nice experience. We even met the cutest barista who tried her best to do latte art even though the machine they had wasn’t equipped for it and even told us about some places in town who do it! I’m excited to try those coffee shops out.
Our names are Stefanie and Adam and we are a married couple who grew up in Augusta. After graduating from college, we both set our sights on the big city of Atlanta to further grow in our careers and lives. During the week we maintain our respective careers. The weekends, however, are spent exploring all that the World has to offer – every hidden gem and fascinating locale.
