Sope Creek Trail Part 2
The Sope creek area is absolutely beautiful. We explored a civil war era paper mill and cotton mill ruin along the Sope Creek. It’s amazing how much nature has reclaimed after 150 years.
New Years Day Walk
November and December had been absolutely miserable weather wise. January first was one of the first few beautiful days so we decided to go out to Sweetwater Creek State Park and the old cotton mill Sherman burnt down. Our friends Lee and Carlton tagged along and we had a blast. Fun fact is this is where Hunger Games shot the outside of District 13 in the latest movie.
The Couple
Our names are Stefanie and Adam and we are a married couple who grew up in Augusta. After graduating from college, we both set our sights on the big city of Atlanta to further grow in our careers and lives. During the week we maintain our respective careers. The weekends, however, are spent exploring all that the World has to offer – every hidden gem and fascinating locale.
